On How You Got Here
1. What brought you to us? What made you decide that your content needed some help?
2. What is your brand’s overall purpose? ( Aside from profit, what specific impact do you want your brand to make on the lives of the client? Typically, this answer sits where what your brand offers and what your consumer’s deepest needs intersect.)
3. How do you believe that quality content can help you with that purpose?
On Knowing The Audience
4. Who is your target audience? Describe them as if you were describing a real person. What do they look like? How old are they? What is their income?

10. What is the tone of your social media updates? Is it the same across the board? Do you want it to be the same? (If you were reading them aloud, how would you want them to be read? What famous person would best represent a voice over for your web content? Facebook posts? Tweets?)
11. What emotions do you hope to convey through your brand’s visuals and messaging?
On Planning Content Before We Write

15. What content delivers the most ROI for you?

On Content Competitors
16. List a few of your competitors in order (include where you fit in the list). Within that list, who does what better?

18. How do you expect to measure ROI and define success with content? What would be considered a success or a failure? Is it about $ or is it about something else?
